# Lopaka.app Terms of Service

By using Lopaka.app, you're agreeing to these terms. We need this to protect everyone and keep our business running.
Break these rules, and you're out.

### Your Account

You're responsible for your account. We'll try to help if it's compromised, but we can't guarantee we'll fix everything.

### Our License to You

**Don't copy Lopaka.app.**

Use our public GitHub repo instead.

### Your License to Us

Public Screens and Projects on Lopaka.app are MIT licensed. Others can use them freely if they keep the MIT license.
Don't post anything you're not okay with being used this way.

Private content is unlicensed. You keep full ownership and can apply your own license.

People can fork (copy) and modify your Public projects copies.

No offensive or copyright-infringing content allowed.

Don't use Lopaka.app for malicious purposes. We'll remove your account if you do, and you're responsible for any trouble
you cause.

### Your Responsibilities

-   You must be 18+ to sign up (it's a legal thing).
-   Under 13? Sorry, no access.
-   13-17? Have a legal guardian sign up for you.
-   Follow all applicable laws.
-   Tell us immediately if your account is hacked.
-   We don't monitor everything, so behave responsibly.

### Impermissible Acts

Don't:

-   Be a jerk
-   Break Lopaka.app
-   Break laws

We might access your account for support, but we don't snoop. We'll comply with legal government requests for
information.

### Feedback

If we use your idea from your feedback response, it's covered by these terms.

### Payment, Refunds, Upgrading and Downgrading

-   We bill monthly or yearly in advance. No refunds.
-   Subscription plans auto-renew every 30 days (monthly basis) and every 365 days if it's yearly.
-   You're responsible for any applicable taxes.
-   Downgrade your subscription plan? Lose it's corresponding features.

**Free Trial**

-   Some plans may include a 7-day free trial. After 7 days, your trial automatically converts to a paid subscription and you'll be charged for the first billing period unless you cancel before the end of the 7th day.
-   To cancel your trial and avoid charges, go to your account menu and cancel your subscription before the trial period ends.
-   If you forget to cancel before the trial ends and a charge occurs, no refund will be issued — the standard no-refunds policy applies.
-   The 7-day free trial is available once per user account. Creating multiple accounts to claim additional trials is a violation of these terms.

### Violations and Termination

We'll delete rule-breaking content and may take legal action.

To delete your account, email support@lopaka.app. Everything's gone forever when you do.

Paid subscription users won't be billed after deletion.

Don't use us for general asset storage.

### Asset Storage

Assets (images, fonts, and other uploaded files) are subject to the following limits based on your subscription plan:

-   **Basic (Free):** Up to 5 assets.
-   **Hobby:** Up to 50 assets.
-   **Plus:** Unlimited assets.

Assets must be used within Lopaka projects. Uploading assets for purposes unrelated to Lopaka projects is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove assets that exceed your plan's limits or violate these terms.

### Modifications to Lopaka.app and Prices

We hope to stick around, but if we must shut down, we must.

Price changes come with 30 days notice.

If you don't like our changes, you can choose to leave.

We'll notify you of major changes through the email address associated with your account.

### Copyright and Ownership

Your creations are yours. "Lopaka.app" is ours.

Report copyright infringement directly to us.

### Disclaimers and Liability

-   There might be downtime or bugs.
-   Features might not meet all your needs.
-   You use Lopaka.app at your own risk.
-   We'll try to answer all emails, prioritizing PLUS users.
-   We're not liable for misuse or the site not meeting your needs.
-   We're not responsible for events beyond our control (internet outages, disasters, etc.).

### Indemnification

You're responsible for any legal issues arising from your use of Lopaka.app. We'll pass along any infringement notices
about you.

### General

If part of these terms conflict with your local laws, the rest still apply.
