#1 The Big Update: Save, Copy, Paste & More
It's with great pleasure that I introduce our first-ever edition of the regular updates!
In this issue, I'll be recapping the features highlights from the last three months, showcasing a selection of the impressive projects users have created with Lopaka, and... 🥁 let's roll out the red carpet for... THE LAUNCH OF THE LOPAKA CLOUD BETA!
What's new?
Saving Projects Now you can save your work seamlessly with Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on Mac). Your project is stored in local storage, specific to each library, ensuring you never lose progress.
Zoom Functionality Dive into the details with improved zoom, ranging from a true 1:1 scale up to an impressive 1000%. This allows for precise editing, whether you're looking at the big picture or focusing on fine details.
Drawing UX Improvements
- Copy and Paste
- Rulers for precise alignment.
- Select Area tool for easier layer selection.
- Expanded font selection for more creative typography.
- Highlighting for hovered and selected objects for better visibility.
- Object resizing by dragging corners.
Keyboard Shortcuts Efficiency is key, and our new shortcuts will save you time:
- Move layers with arrow keys or SHIFT + arrow for larger increments.
- CTRL + arrow Up/Down to reorder layers.
- Copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) layers to duplicate them quickly.
- Select multiple layers with SHIFT+Click or use Ctrl+A to select all.
- Delete or Backspace to remove layers, and Esc to reset selection.
AdafruitGFX Library We’ve rolled out support for the AdafruitGFX library, albeit without color support for the time being.
Live Preview on Flipper Zero Connect your Flipper Zero and use the live preview to see your graphics on the device's screen in real-time, thanks to a script from the Flipper Zero team.
New Logo We've refreshed our look with a new logo that better represents our commitment to creativity and functionality.
Project Structure Revamp Our github project structure has been reorganized for better convenience and now requires building before launching.
